These 50 ml reusable media bottles are manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. The glass used has a low thermal expansion coefficient, providing better temperature resistance than standard lab glass. These glass media bottles can withstand temperatures from -70°C to 500°C, permitting repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers. Each glass media bottle has permanent, white enamel graduations for volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding. All bottles include a drip-free sealing ring as well as a standard blue polypropylene (GL45) sealing cap. With their superior chemical resistance, these bottles are ideal for storage of reagents, culture medial, biological fluids and a variety of other aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.
