Glass:
These clear glass shorty sample vials are part of the aqueous series and come with solid-top black phenolic closures with 14B white rubber liners. Both cap and liner are autoclavable and have substantial resistance to chemicals, acids and bases. This combination is ideal for general sampling needs without the added cost of Teflon.
This design of the Shorty sample vials features a low profile for greater stability and less dead volume above sample, making it ideal for compound storage. Vials are packaged in Lab File corrugated trays with partitions and shrink-wrapped to reduce particulate contamination. They are manufactured from Wheaton 33 low extractable borosilicate glass (meets ASTM Type I Class and USP Type I standards).
