Plastic:
The PP erlenmeyer flasks are available in 50, 125, 250, 500, 1000 ml sizes and are an excellent alternative to glass flasks. Molded of chemically resistant, autoclavable polypropylene, and are durable enough to withstand repeated sterilizations. Graduations in ml are permanently molded into flask. The conical shapes of these erlenmeyer flasks allow their contents to be swirled during experiments, while their narrow necks keep the contents from spilling. The narrow neck also slows evaporative loss of the flask's contents.
