The First EYD Station is an emergency eye wash station with an integral eye wash bottle. The stations are molded of high-impact green polystyrene, and come complete with one natural LDPE (low density polyethylene) eye wash bottle with an easy flip top cap per station. Directions for use are clearly printed in black on the support rack.

The unique bottle is designed to allow quick and immediate flushing to remove foreign matters and help prevent serious eye damage. The head has an air-vent valve to ensure air refill of free space in the bottle, thus preventing drawback of contaminated wash into the bottle. A perforated spray plate in the eye cup breaks up the stream to give the eye a gentle wash. A drain tube releases used fluid. These 500 ml (16 oz) capacity bottles provide maximum comfort and ease of use, and may be filled with distilled water or other medicated liquids for opthalmic use. Bottles are also sold separately (without the station) in cases of 5.
