The Multi-Therm Shaker is a temperature-controlled vortex mixer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications, including denaturation of DNA, RNA and proteins, lipid extractions, yeast and bacteria cultivation, reverse transcription and much more. Despite its modest 8 x 11" footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible, including as many as 6 50 ml tubes. Speed, time and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity.
Two models of the Multi-Therm Shaker are available, one which heats only and one that has both heating and cooling capabilities.
A variety of blocks for holding various types of tubes and plates are also available sold separately.
