These clear glass trypsinizing flasks come with black screw caps lined with white styrene-butadiene rubber liners, which help to reduce contamination of the flask contents. The fluted design of these glass flasks is intended to improve mixing. The glass trypsinizing flasks are made from low extractable clear borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E-438 Type I, Class A requirements. Trypsinizing flasks are commonly used to reduce tissue to cellular components in samples when used with trypsin and a magnetic stirrer. These glass flasks are also useful for removal of cells from microcarrier beads.
