Plastic:
These exclusive, unique PET plastic liquid scintillation vials manufactured from crystal-clear PET plastic offer significant advantages over glass counting vials, including low background count, virtual unbreakability and economy.
For optimal performance in the laboratory, PET plastic liquid scintillation vials provide a combination of features previously unavailable in a counting vial. For example, these vials can be safely incinerated; no harmful gas is generated, only CO2 and H2O are created. Lightweight, virtually unbreakable plastic has the clarity of glass. PET vials also offers low permeability to solvents and minimal background count.
These liquid scintillation vials are available in a 20 ml size with numerous cap and liner options. Screw caps are available either attached to vials, or packaged separately. Vials with caps attached come in plastic shrink-wrapped trays of 100 for protection against contamination. Vials with caps supplied separately come in PE bags of 100.
Extra compatible white screw caps are also available, sold separately. Be sure to match up the neck finish of the vial with the cap size of the cap of your choice for proper fit.
