Plastic:
These containers are especially designed with collection, transport, and storage of specimens in mind. These are made of shatter resistant polypropylene, which helps to eliminate most leakage and evaporation issues. The lids to these specimen containers are ribbed for easy opening; even if your hands are wet or gloved. The containers themselves are stackable for convenient and safe storage. They have a unique built in leak-resistant seal.
The most important part of the SecurTainer, is that it has an incorporated tamper evident screw cap that ensures your peace of mind during transport and storage situations. These containers can also be used without the tamper evident locking mechanism.
Both the containers themselves and the caps are made without using plasticisers or mold release agents, and all material used is latex free. All of these containers are 95kpa compliant.
