Sterile PETG Octogonal Water Sampling Bottles w/ Tamper Evident Caps

The 500 ml Sterilin® octogonal graduated water testing bottles can be used to sample water sources in the field in a variety of situations where cholorination is a factor, such as swimming pool water. Dosed bottles are treated with 120 mg/L of Sodium Thiosulphate (NaS2O4), a clear, colorless compound that neutralizes both free and residual chlorine in samples. Both dosed and undosed bottles are manufactured from non-toxic PETG plastic which has excellent clarity and resistance to breakage, and are tested for leaks and drippage. The octogonal design facilitates handling, storage and transport, and promotes rapid cooling of media. These water testing bottles also come with color coded tamper-evident HDPE caps to ensure sample integrity, printed expiration dates, and lot numbers for traceability.
