4.5 ml Clear Acrylic UV-VIS Macro Cuvettes

The 4.5 ml acrylic UV-VIS macro cuvettes can be used in the water testing field to detect bacteria and DNA concentrations in drinking water samples via fluorometry. Fluorometry is a procedure in which a beam of light (usually UV) is used to stimulate electrons in compounds, causing them to emit light at low energy levels, making the otherwise invisible substances detectable. The acrylic macro cuvettes are accurate throughout the 285 nm to 750 nm VIS-UV spectral range, and are supplied in dust-proof scratch-resistant trays with CFC-free polystyrene lids, in cases of 100 with LDPE snap-on cuvette caps. The 4.5 ml acrylic cuvettes, as well as the LDPE cuvette caps, can also be purchased separately.
