These sterile cryogenic lab vials include screw caps in varying sizes. The caps and plastic lab vials are manufactured of specially formulated polypropylene plastic with the same coefficient of expansion. This construction improves the leak-proof attributes to create a secure seal, regardless of the temperature. Also, ensuring a secure seal, these sterile plastic lab vials feature a silicone washer positioned between the cap and lab vials. To seal cryogenic lab vials completely, a 1 1/4 turn is required. This line of plastic lab vials was created to store biological material, human or animal cells in temperatures as low as -196° C, only to be used in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen. These sterile plastic lab vials feature a white marking area and can be used with most storage systems. Sterilize these certified RNase-, DNase-, Pyrogen, and DNA-free vials by gamma radiation. Only the round bottom plastic lab vials can be centrifuged, up to 17,000g. These lab vials are packaged in tamper-proof, resealable, safety-lock bags of 100 lab vials each.
