Glass:
This multi-purpose micro sample vial is part of the Wheaton aqueous series line of vials, is manufactured from Wheaton 33® low extractable borosilicate glass (meets ASTM Type I Class A and USP Type I standards) glass and comes with a polypropylene cap with metal foil liner. Its small size reduces sample-to-surface contact when it is used as a micro-package. In addition, it is economical when used as a scintillation vial. Vials are packaged in corrugated trays with partitions. Metal foil liner has excellent barrier properties to hydrocarbons.
