The Micro-Stir Slow Speed Single Place Magnetic Stirrer is designed specifically for cell culture applications requiring exceptionally slow speeds (5 - 175 rpm), gentle mixing and low heat transfer. The gradual stop rotation facilitates bead and cell attachment by allowing cells to settle then attach, and also to draw off and replenish spent media. A brushless DC motor provides low-maintenance operation and precise speed control. This unit may be used in an environment with CO2 and non-condensing humidity. It can also be used with a temperature to 50°C. The new Micro-Stir line has several automatic modes of operation to optimize the growth of your cells and allow you to concentrate on your results. Each unit comes with one of seven standard electric plugs, and additional configurations are available through special order. Each unit also comes with a two year warranty.
