The myGel InstaView™ Complete Electrophoresis System includes everything needed to cast, run, and view mini electrophoresis gels. This system consists of an integrated power supply, the capacity for large (10.5x10 cm) or small (10.5x6 cm) gels accommodated by the gel tank, and optional voltage output. Choose from 35V, 50V, or 100V, and a run time that can be adjusted up to 99 minutes. A magnetic interlock between the gel tank and the lid prevents the currents from running through the system when the lid is not correctly in place.

When the myGel InstaView™ Complete System is set up, slide the mini LED transilluminator into place under the tank and turn on to begin viewing instantly. The blue LED emits a bright blue light at a 465nm wavelength for excitation of common green fluorescent stains such as SmartGlow™, SYBYR™ Green, and Gel Green, without damaging DNA. An orange filter is incorporated into the lid for visualizing DNA bands without any additional equipment or specific glasses.

The InstaView™ Gel Tank System is a top choice for running, viewing, and documenting electrophoretic separations for labs that prefer to use a separate power supply. The gel tank accommodates one large (10.5x10cm) or one small (10.5x6cm) gel tray and includes trays, combs, and a leak-proof casting stand. Attached to the gel tank lid is a power lead preventing the unit from operating if the lid is not properly in place. Any standard power supply can be connected, including the Accuris myVolt™ Mini, and myVolt Touch. The construction of the gel tank allows the included mini LED transilluminator to slide easily underneath. The transilluminator can be turned on at any time during a run to track progress, and automatically shuts off after 5 minutes.

For documenting results, simply place the gel imaging enclosure over the top of either system and use a camera app on any smartphone to capture high-resolution images without removing the gel from the tank.
