SKS Science glass beakers are all made from KG-33 clear glass. KG-33 is a KIMAX® Brand borosilicate glass. This glass meets the requirements for Type 1 Class A glass of ASTM E438, "Glass in Laboratory Apparatus". Unlike ordinary glass, borosilicate glass does not expand, making it uniquely resistant to temperature change. Low Form Griffin Glass Beaker
The KIMAX® Low Form Griffin glass beaker is offered in sizes ranging from 10 ml to 4,000 ml. The majority of sizes are offered in varying quantities to suit your needs, large or small. These beakers offer excellent strength and durability as well as a high resistance to chemicals and thermal shock. Berzelius Glass Tall Beakers
The KIMAX® Berzelius glass tall beakers are offered in sizes ranging from 100 ml to 1,000 ml. The beaker design meets ASTM Specification E960, Type III requirements. They feature a white double capacity scale that indicates approximate volumes; they also each have a matte finish marking area. These tall beakers offer excellent durability, as well as provide a high resistance to chemicals and thermal shock. Low Form "Thick Wall" Glass Beakers
